Oolongs are luxury teas that are typically harvested and rolled by hand, coming from China, Taiwan, and South Africa.
This Blue Spring Oolong gets its name from a Buddhist legend that Guan Yin, the goddess of compassion, disguised herself as a goat herder and was travelling through a village in drought. Despite barely having enough water for themselves, they offered her what little they had left, after this kind act she revealed herself and gifted them a beautiful blue spring. In honor, the villagers started putting blue mallow petals into their tea to represent the crystal blue spring.
