Dragonwell

This tea, known as Lung Ching or Longjing, is a full bodied green tea, excellent for the lovers of hearty traditional tea.

Dragonwell tea is produced entirely by hand in a 10 part process, exactly as it has been made and passed down through history and generations. It is distinctly known for it's emerald green color, beautiful shape, and sweet scented smell. The leaves are plucked before the first rainfall of the year, and are typically grown in an area with heavy mist and fog lending to the namesake.

Legend has that a dragon was lurking in a nearby spring, in these times dragons were revered for being noble, wise, and a sign of protection over the village. When the farms growing this tea were deep in a terrible drought a monk called for the dragon to help, and the rains poured down on them saving the crop and the village.
